American Shared Hospital Services Annual Meeting Set for June 9, 2011

San Francisco, CA, April 5, 2011 -- AMERICAN SHARED HOSPITAL SERVICES (NYSE AMEX:AMS), a leading provider of turnkey technology solutions for advanced radiosurgical and radiation therapy services, announced today that its 2011 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on June 9, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. PDT in the Conference Center, Four Embarcadero Center, San Francisco, California 94111. The Board of Directors has fixed the close of business on April 22, 2011 as the record date for determination of shareholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting.
